VSTs support in Windows 10S

VST Effects are not supported in GuitarSharp when it is running on Microsoft Windows 10S (a secured version of Windows 10). This is because Windows 10S runs its Windows Store applications in a sandboxed environment for extra security to prevent any Microsoft unapproved or malicious code being executed. As VST Effects are separate music software code modules provided by third parties, loading them into GuitarSharp would be seen by Windows 10S as a possible attempt to execute non-Microsoft approved code and it would automatically terminate the GuitarSharp application.

MIDI support in Windows 10S

MIDI Input/Output is not supported in GuitarSharp when it is running on Microsoft Windows 10S (a secured version of Windows 10). This is because Windows 10S runs its Windows Store applications in a sandboxed environment for extra security to prevent any Microsoft unapproved or malicious code being executed. This means that GuitarSharp is unable to access connected MIDI Input or Output devices.
